Obituary of Betty Merle Rhodes

Betty Merle Rhodes passed away January 20, 2021 at her home in Grapevine, Texas. Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas. Service will be livestreamed at: https://www.facebook.com/thompsonfuneralhome In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Firsts United Methodist Church Benevolence Fund. "We'll love you forever, we'll like you for always". Forever and ever our Gbet you'll be. Betty attended Birdville High School and graduated as Valedictorian. She later attended Texas Wesleyan College. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ed, in 2017 to whom she was married for 63 wonderful years. Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church in Grapevine. She will be remembered with great love by her son, Rusty; and daughter-in-law, Cindy; granddaughter, Jenny Tuttle; grandson, Chris Rhodes and wife, Britni; and great-grandchildren, Parker Tuttle; and Avery and Liam Rhodes.
