John Nathanael McClaflin of Granbury, Tx passed away on Friday December 18, 2020 at the age of 39. John is survived in death by his loving mother Judith McClaflin of Round Rock, Tx; sisters Cheryl Audette and husband Larry of Volente, Tx; Julie Hammar and husband Mark of Round Rock, Tx; Yvonne Masters and husband Todd of Plano, Tx; brothers Michael Marshall and wife Deanna of Piedmont, Ok; David Marshall of Granbury, Tx; nieces Nicole Critelli, Heather Critelli; nephews Kevin Steinbrecher, Blake Masters, Clayton Masters, Braydon Marshall, and Jacob Marshall; and Diann Marshall. He is proceeded in death by his loving father Jackie Dale McClaflin, nephew Waylon Ray Marshall, and John Marshall. John loved living by the lake and spending time fishing. It was cleansing to the soul he would often say. His smile could light up a room. Often times in the evening you could find John sitting on his front porch with his beloved companion, his dog, Bella, visiting with his neighbors as they strolled by. It is evident he will be missed by his neighbors. John’s passing left a hole in our hearts and a pain we struggle to ease. We will never forget his bear hugs, his compassionate and giving heart and the unconditional way he loved. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. Heaven gained a beautiful angel Friday evening, the trumpets resounded and the angels sang as our loved one joined our Lord in Heaven. We imagine him meeting Daddy and Big John on the banks of the Jordan to spend their day fishing. What a joyous event. Until we meet again, fly high. You are missed.
