I cannot remember a time in my life when Floyd and Dorothy were not a part of our family's history. He went to high school with my mother, then he and Dorothy were at the seminary with Daddy and Mother. While in seminary, Floyd and Dorothy actually babysat me on occasion. As the years went on, Floyd and Daddy were in contact through Presbytery. They met again when Mother and Daddy returned to the Metroplex and started going to First Presbyterian. We were honored to have Floyd to participate so meaningfully in Daddy's funeral. Later, Mom moved to Trinity Terrace and Floyd and Dorothy moved in shortly thereafter. There long time friendship continued. Floyd was such a kind, generous of heart and happy man. He always had a smile and a hug for me whenever I saw him. He was a PASTOR in the truest sense of the word. I will treasure the sweet memories of Floyd. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy and the rest of the family during this time. Lu'Ann Logan Hart
