Obituary of Cynthia Susan Roberts

Cynthia (Cindy) Susan Lenz Roberts was born January 28, 1956 in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota to Arthur John and Susie (Sue) Lucille Lenz. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Cindy spent most of her early life on the family farm in Nekoma, North Dakota. The farm life as well as being the baby amongst 7, helped instill the characteristics most knew her as: strong and independent. Upon graduating from Nekoma High School, Cindy would attend Lake Region Junior College while working as a Nursing Assistant at Devils Lake Mercy Hospital. There she would meet her future husband, (Bruce Roberts). After getting married in 1975, Cindy would move around frequently until finding her final home in Arlington, Texas with her 4 beautiful children in 1993/94. There Cindy would prove to be an active member in her community lending a helping hand where she saw fit. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Sue Lenz, her sister: Bonnie Marsh and her sister-in-laws: Mary Ann Petri Lenz and Shirley Hansel Lenz. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her childern: Jaime Roberts, Patrick Roberts, Susan Davis (husband: Matt Davis) and Steven Roberts. Grandchildern: Isaiah Hayes, Lauren Hayes, Caleb Davis, Miles Davis and Everly Davis. Siblings: Duane Lenz, Diane Burton, Terry Lenz, Rick Lenz and Ronnie Lenz. As well as a number of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Cindy will be remembered for her incredible kindness, strength and love. A woman who would bring a smile to anyone’s face with her great sense of humor. But most importantly, she was a devoted nurturer who displayed unconditional love and was accepting of any and everyone.
