Wendy and Sonja were special friends. We served together in the (now retired) 81st TFS. Those were special y ears and it would be hard to describe the way we all worked together as husband fighters and spouses. Communities of today just have no way of understanding the spirit of those who served at that time.

Wendy and I started our USAF careers in pilot training in January 1962 and continued together to F-100 check out. Our paths crossed many times during the rest of our Air Force careers and then to GD/Lockheed where we worked together in F-16 PVI. He made many significant improvements to the F-16 fleet capability. He was a good friend and will be missed. Our condolences to Sonja and family from Hugh and Karen Moreland.

To Sonja and family: Bonnie and I extend heartfelt condolences. Wendy was a great friend and co-worker at Lockheed. He was especially helpful with the understanding and engineering of complex aircraft systems as he helped improve their operation for the benefit of pilots in the Air Force. He was a respected member of our team and all of us who knew him have fond memories. Bonnie and I kept in touch with Wendy and Sonja after we were all retired and we enjoyed our time together. We were always going to get together more often, and now of course we wish we had. I will always remember our discussions about the stock market and Wendy's new found interest and expertise in photography. He was good at whatever he undertook, that's for sure. May he now rest in peace. Sam and Bonnie Harris

Sonya and Family,
Deepest condolences - I have fond memories of Wendy during our times together at LM Aero. The work was great, but the lunches with Wendy, Sam, Steve, and I were always the best part of the day. Wendy was a good friend, always caring and level-headed. I will miss him.

Sonja and Family, I and the friends from LM Aero, especially the F-16 Pilot-Vehicle Interface group, send our condolences. We enjoyed working with and then spending breakfasts (we called them off-site meetings) with Wendy and hearing the stories of how it once was...back in the day. His smile, wit, and friendship will be missed. God bless your family and be with you providing His peace. Dan "Cadillac" Saville
