She welcomed me into her home years ago. Taught me how to cut up a chicken, how to make the best kool-aid and gave my first born his name. She was a great comedienne! We laughed ALL the time. Loved her stories about granny and being raised in Chickasha. The last time I saw her was at her sister's house in Chickasha. She was still the same Nita! We get older, live our own lives and don't keep in touch as often as we should with family and friends from our past. But Nita will always hold a special place in my heart. I know she's in the presence of the Lord , may her soul rest in glory.
