My mom's sister, Julia Flores. Aunt Julie was a sweet, sparkling soul that had much love and patience for her family. Everyone was welcome at Aunt Julie's table, no one left hungry or unloved. I have so many memories of my mom and Aunt Julie sitting in the den or at the kitchen table, chatting and laughing, crying and hugging, singing and praying. When my mom and Aunt Julie would talk the phone, eventually my Uncle Bob and my dad also had to get on the phone to join in the silliness. Can you imagine a conversation with 4 grown-ups (and eventually senior citizens) all on a handset talking and laughing for over an hour? It was the most delightful sound in the world to me because I got to see how sweet family could be to each other. After I married, Charlie would occasionally have to travel to the DFW area for work. We always stopped at Aunt Julie's house, just in time for dinner, for a visit. Aunt Julie welcomed my husband Charlie and loved on him as if she had known him for his entire life. I have so many great memories and they all include laughter, food and music. As my Dad began to suffer from Alzheimer's disease and decline, the visits with Aunt Julie were even more special. I would cry and she would hug me, console me and cry with me. Eventually Aunt Julie's memory also began to fade but her core traits remained.
To my precious cousins: thank you for sharing Aunt Julie and Uncle Bob with me and the rest of the family. Surely heaven rejoices as she has joined the Church Triumphant and is reunited with Billy, Larry, Uncle Bob and the rest of the family. The line in her obituary about the Nativity Scenes made me smile, my mother was fortunate enough to receive one and passed it down to me. Its truly a treasure knowing it was painted by my Aunt Julie.
I love you so very much Aunt Julie, rest peacefully because you have earned your eternal reward in heaven. Grant unto her, O Lord, eternal rest and may perpetual light shine upon her.

condolences to all of Julie’s children. My memory of Julie is how patient and loving she was to her children. And how she’s made all of their clothes. Also the trips to Hagerman New Mexico in the back of Bob’s truck. May she rest in peace with her husband and her two sons.

My aunt Julia was the most sophisticated, sweet and loving person. She loved her husband Bob, her children, gran & great-grand children so very much. It was evident in the stories she told us over the years. She is and always will be the surrogate mother of the Guevara family. We will miss her beautiful smile, the songs she loved singing and all her talents brought into our lives; her spirit will live forth in our memories and her family. To my cousins, our prayers and heart-felt thoughts are with you during these difficult days.

My condolences to the family on the loss of their beautiful Mother and Grandmother.
My father was the youngest sibling of the Guevara clan, the girls helped raise him. My dad Clovis Guevara ✝️ Had a birthday on September 1, every year he would wait for the mail because his sister Julie would send him $1 every year until he passed away! It brought him so much joy to receive his birthday card with $1 bill in it. He would tell everyone he could how his sister would send it to him even as an adult! One if my fondest memories of Aunt Julie and my Dad!
