Obituary of Waymon Linden Williams

Waymon L. Williams passed away in his home with family on April 1, 2020 in Azle, TX at the age of 87.
Waymon was born on September 19th 1932 in Reno, Texas to Noah and Lessie Williams.
After attending High School in Springtown, Texas, Waymon enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1951, and in 1952 was wed to his High School
sweetheart Rowena Elliot. After his time in the Service, Waymon furthered his education and certifications in his field, ultimately becoming The Manager of Production & Planning
in the Maintenance Division of Frontier Airlines.
Over the years, Waymon and Rowena raised 3 boys as well as their Grandson Joshua Williams.
Waymon was also accomplished at home building and an all around handy man with a high standard of quality when it came to anything he put his hands on.
Waymon was charming, entertaining, funny, ethical, God-Fearing, hard working, and took pride in providing for his family and emparted that to his sons
to his best of his ability. He enjoyed playing country music, fishing, cooking, gardening, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
Waymon is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rowena Williams (Elliot), Grandson Joshua M. Williams, and Great Granddaughter Jenaya G. Williams.
He is preceded in death by his 3 sons Jerry Williams, Jon Williams, and Joseph Wiliams.
