Obituary of Charles Franklin Courtney

Charles F. Courtney, 81, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020. Gathering of Family and Friends: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday at the Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76133. Charles was born to the parentage of Lee and Martha Courtney in Fort Worth, Texas on February 2, 1939. He was a machinist for over 60 years, which he enjoyed very much. Charles was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, and was an avid coin collector. Survivors: Wife, Wanda Courtney; son, Gaylen Courtney and wife Peggy; grandchildren, Dusty, Heather, Amberly and Kasey Courtney; great grandchildren, Wyatt and Makenna; sisters, Pam Meredith and Dorothy Smith; nephew, Justin Meredith; and a host of extended family and friends.
