Obituary of Eunice Enerson Menefee

Eunice Carolyn Enerson Menefee went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 2, 2019. Born February 16, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa, she, her parents, and sisters moved to Fort Worth in l939.

She graduated from North Side High School and then married Doyle Menefee on February 22, 1951. She retired from Bank One in 1995 after 16 years as Administrative Assistant in the Energy Loan Department. In 1996, she and Doyle moved to Kennedale. Longtime member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church, formerly Tarrant Road Baptist Church in Fort Worth, she served as church organist for 27 years, taught Sunday School for years, and was active in many other areas of the church, including Young Women’s Auxiliary, V.B.S., service projects volunteer, and editor of a Senior Adult Newsletter.

Preceded in death by parents Aaron and Mary Enerson and sisters Rosamond Adair and Polly Gooch, her survivors include children Judy Wilson, David Menefee, Barbara Green, Susan Spicer, and grandson Samuel Green.
