My favorite memory of Uncle Ronnie are many and far between. One year my family and my kids were in Minnesota and he drove up to visit, he let My son Ryan and his cousin Peter get up into the truck in the drivers seat to see what it was like to be in a semi truck. Both boys had lots of fun sitting and pretending to drive.
Another favorite memory was when he was coming to visit for my parents anniversary party and we were in the airport after we met him at the gates ( way back when you were able to do that before all of the new security now) we were all talking and the comment was made of " surely " and his response was "Shirley, didn't come on this trip....". ( i didn't get the joke back then) , but of course little things like this stay with you now in everyday opportunity to use it again and again, and it always reminds me of my uncle Ronnie.
