Everleen loved her family and enjoyed the comfort and security of her close-knit family. She left her hometown of Palestine to live in Fort Worth, where she raised her kids and remained until God called her home. There was no greater joy for her than her being there to support her children and grandchildren as they navigated life’s challenges and successes.

She enjoyed thrift shopping, the outdoors, talking on the phone to those she loved, going to church on Sundays and singing old Hymns.

Everleen has traded her mortal for her immortality.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbert Wiggins; mother, Mae Ella Wiggins; son, Jimmy Smith; brothers, Willie Wiggins & Otis Wiggins; sister, Silvia Greene; grandson, Anthony Paul Tisby; great granddaughters, Erica Tisby and Paige Clewis.
