Kay loved to travel. She and her husband Lee pulled their 5th wheel trailer all over the U.S. on their rock hound adventures, yielding treasures which Lee used to make beautiful jewelry for their business, Stone People Jewelry. Kay was his best salesperson. Nothing made her happier than spending time with family, especially holidays and summers at “The Lake” with her Curran/Kiel family.
In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her brother, John Kiel; and sister, Sally Curran.
Kay is survived by her husband of 27 years, Lee R. Aaron; son, Rush Carter (Vanessa); daughter, Kristen Carter Frye (Rob); stepson, Phillip Aaron; stepdaughter, Kim Sines (David); grandchildren, Maddy, Lina and JoJo Carter, Sarah and Emily Sines, Tony and Beth Gore, and Amanda Sane; the father of her children, John Paul Carter and his wife, Carole; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Senior Care at Stonegate’s Rehab Wing for the loving care provided to Kay over her final months.
