Obituary of Nancy Lou Perry
Nancy “Grandma” Perry passed away January 31, 2019
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2019, at the Marty Leonard Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet St, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
Nancy was born in Logan, West Virginia to Mary Ellis Pack and Delbert Pack. Her father was a coal miner who passed away when Nancy was 6. She was later raised by Georgia Workman “Aunt Georgie”. Nancy married Don Perry on Saturday, August 6, 1955 at Camp Perry, Ohio. They spend 61 glorious years together.
She co-founded Don Perry’s Garage where she worked until the day she passed. Nancy could remember the names of every customer who came into the shop. She could also tell you about their children and the issues they had, the last time they were in the shop.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was stern, yet loving, and never turned her back on any of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Perry; and daughter, Danette Hernandez.
Survivors: Sons, Donald Lee Perry and wife, Berta, Darwin Ray Perry, David Danjoseph Perry and wife, Laura; son-in-Law, Robert Hernandez; grandchildren, Don Hernandez, Mathew Hernandez, Heather Perry; great grandchildren, Calliope Hernandez; and many extended family and friends.
