Narciso Cortes

Obituary of Narciso Cortes

Please share a memory of Narciso to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Narciso Cortes, 91, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 22, 2018 at the Marty Leonard Chapel 3131 Sanguinet St, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

Narciso was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a devout Christian and attended Gateway Church. He loved spending time with his family and loved sitting down at the kitchen table to eat with his family every day. He had a huge heart and always helped anyone in need. He lived every day to the fullest and would love to watch the sunrise. He prayed and blessed each one of his children and family members on a daily basis. He is deeply missed by many, but we know we will see him again.

The family would like to thank: Our Gateway family for supporting us every step of the way; Community Hospice, who sent us nurse Dottie, who was our angel; Cuidado Casero for helping us take care of Narciso; Texas Health Alliance for caring for Narciso when he became ill and providing comfort to our family; Dr. Alvarado, Dr. Calloway and staff for caring for Narciso for over 10 years; and to all our friends and community who held our hand through a difficult time.
