Obituary of Mark Steven Poot

Mark Steven Poot, 59, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Gathering of Family and Friends: 3 - 5 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. 

Memorials: Should friends desire memorial may be given to the American Cancer Society.

Mark was born on June 10, 1959, in Fort Dix, New Jersey to Christian and Emiko Poot. He was a 1977 graduate of Parkway High School in Bossier City, LA. Mark received his Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from Louisiana Tech University, in Ruston, LA. Mark was a Technical Design Expert for Alcon/Novartis for many years. He loved music and Motor Cross.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Christian Poot.

Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Emiko Poot; his brother, Perry Poot and wife Wanda; niece and nephew, Jason Poot and wife Carla and Jennifer Sjolin and husband Jason; great-nieces and nephews, Isaiah, Mathias, and Eliana Poot, and Logan and Seth Sjolin; and his cat Getty.
