Obituary of Agustina Espinoza De Llaque

Please share a memory of Agustina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Agustina was born in Barcelona Spain in 1916, her family moved to Peru when she was 5 years of age.  In 1937 she married Alfredo Llaque Vega and gave birth to 6 children over the next 19 years. Agustina and Alfredo moved to the USA in 1989 to join the 4 daughters who had already relocated to the United States, Alfredo passed away the following year.

Agustina's love for god developed at an early age, as a little girl until her young adult life she had wanted to become a nun, that of course changed when she met and fell in love with Alfredo. Even though her dreams changed her devotion to god never did, she always enjoyed reading the bible, and later in life she joined the Jehovah’s Witness.

Agustina took great pride and joy in her dedication to her family, she did everything she could to make their lives the best they could be including letting her daughters come to the united states at young ages. She was able to share that joy as one of her sons also was able to join her and her daughters in the United States later as an adult and was able to make a life for him and his family.

Augustinas favorite activities included cooking, sewing, knitting, crafts of all kinds, gardening and traveling to see new places. She loved her family, all the furry babies that were brought into her life, and really enjoyed seeing nature.

Agustina lived to be 102 years old, she was very healthy until she was 100 years old, she was able to move around and take care of herself, 3 days before she turned 100 she had what her family believes to be a stroke and for the last 2 years was restricted to a bed as she could never recover all of her previous abilities. during these last 2 years she had great joy in seeing all of her family and friends as they visited and assisted in caring for her.

Agustina will be so extremely missed by her family and all those friends that took the time to get to know and love her.
