Her legacy lives on through her sons, Anthony Garner, Steven Justice and Michael Coleman. As well as her grandchildren, Xan Garner, Ashley Coleman and Ty Coleman; and brothers, William Couhig, Paul Garner Jr., George Adams Earl Russel, Leon Marshal and Earl Russel, Sr.; sisters, Darlene Sample, Vera Roberts, Lasonya Adams-Walker, Connie Hoffman, Sharon Justice.

She is preceded by death by sisters, Cathy Marshall, Ivy Bailey, Gwendolyn McGuffie.

A woman of many hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting, painting and creating board games. Above all, she enjoyed the company of her family. Taking cruises with her niece, Angie, and having long chats with her best friend, JT always put a smile on her face. One of her dreams was to be a great gymnast, so it brought her so much joy to live through her granddaughter, Xan Garner, who is a highly ranked Texas gymnast. Those who knew her know how much she loved Mickey Mouse and cooking meatloaf. She enjoyed the sounds of Anthony Hamilton but expected to hear Maxwell’s “Pretty Wings” on her birthday and Mother’s Day. With such a huge heart and even bigger personality, she will be remembered through the many wonderful memories we share.
