Jerry Wayne Vance, was born on March 15, 1949, in Honolulu, HI, and was called home to be with our Lord, Friday, April 27, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Service: 11 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2018, at Southwayside Baptist Church, 301 Thornhill Ave., Fort Worth, TX. 

Interment: Mt Olivet Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX. 

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Southwayside Baptist Church.  

Jerry Wayne was a long-time resident of Fort Worth. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad 45 years where he retired from. Jerry Wayne was a holy devote Christian, serving our Lord in countless ways. He was a Deacon at Southwayside Baptist Church, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Teacher, member of the Choir and lending his support in any way he was needed. A faithful servant, not just teaching others, the Love of Jesus, but, living by his word.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pat Vance, father Frederick Vance and brother Ace Vance.

Survivors: Mother, Marlene Vance; brother, Gary Mark Vance and wife Renee; sister, Judy Vance Nesloney and husband Milton; all of San Antonio, nephews, and nieces; and a host of family and friends; all of whom he loved.
