Obituary of Clyde "Dick" Dickerson, Sr.
Clyde “Dick” Dickerson Sr, 91, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Martin Thompson & Son, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76133.
Service: 10 am Thursday, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 3314 Dryden Rd, Ft. Worth.
Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Ft. Worth.
Dick was born on June 8, 1926, to Walter and Beulah Dickerson in Fort Worth. He was a strong, kind, loving husband and father, and respected by all who knew him. Dick lived almost 92 years of life to the fullest, a John Wayne stature who demanded respect because he always kept his word. He was a supervisor of several grocery stores and the number 1 car salesman for 10 years at Ted Aarondale and Mac Churchill.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Connie Dickerson, his sister, Elizabeth Tout, and his brother, Leo Dickerson Sr.
Survivors: Wife, Lynn Dickerson; children, Clyde Dickerson Jr and wife Donna, Janey Dickerson, and Valerie Dickerson; Stepson, Tony Campbell and his wife Angie: brother; Art Dickerson and wife Pat; sister, Leona Monski; grandchildren, great-grandchildren host of nieces, nephews and extended family; and his best friend, BoBo
