I MET LARRY WHEN I WAS IN GRADE SCHOOL AND WE BECAME FAST FRIENDS, WE SPENT MANY HOURS PLAYING BASEBALL AND OTHER SPORTS TOGETHER. LOTS OF TIME WE PLAYED IN THE MIDDLE OF MARSALIS AVE AND WE WOULD RUN BACK TO HIS YARD WHEN THE CARS CAME. WE WOULD JUST BE GETTING GOING GOOD AND I REMEMBER HIS MOM WOULD CALL HIM IN TO PRACTICE SOME SORT OF MUSIC LESSON. I THINK IT WAS MAYBE GUITAR . I KNEW EVEN THEN THAT LARRY WAS A SPECIAL GUY, EVERYTHING HE DID HE DID IT 100%. I MOVED AWAY TO IRVING WHEN I WAS GOING TO BOUDE STOREY JR. HIGH. WE PLAYED FOOTBALL TOGETHER WHILE IWAS THERE, AND BOY I CAN STILL REMEMBER HOW HARD HE PLAYED ON EVERY SINGLE DOWN. LARRY WAS NO DOUBT THE BEST MAN I EVER KNEW!! MAY HE REST IN PEACE.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Larry. When he was the District Director at Pitney Bowes in Phoenix AZ he was my boss. He was such a nice person to everyone. He never said a bad word about anyone. I've had a lot of bosses over my many years of work ... he was one of my favorites. You have my sympathy Lucky in your loss! You both have been on my mind the past few months. Again, I am sorry to hear this news! ~ Love Liz & Dennis in Prescott Valley AZ.

The 62 class of South Oak Cliff is so very proud of our beloved classmate, Larry Perry. Larry was always a light, of love, of integrity, of laughter....even in his last days, we are told he had that beautiful smile. Rest High on That Mountain, Larry.
