Obituary of Cheryl Ferguson
Cheryl Ferguson, 71, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017.
Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, Rose Chapel, 1519 Lipscomb St., Fort Worth.
Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth.
Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to T.A.P.E.D, c/o Dan Diffee, 3001 Elsnor Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76116.
Cheryl was born April 29, 1946, in Albany, N.Y., to Herbert and Mary Ann Kutz. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas in education, and her master's in deaf education from Texas Womans University. Cheryl taught and was a supervisor at the Crowley Independent School District for many years. She was a member and officer in T.A.P.E.D. and served deaf children, and also a active committee member for Imagination Celebration Special Weekend for the Deaf. Cheryl loved her Arkansas football, and spending time with her son.
Cheryl was the widow of Arver Ferguson.
Survivors: Son, Mike Ferguson; and extended family.
