Obituary of Ronald Curtis Stuhlman

Ronald Curtis Stuhlman, age 73, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024. A private family viewing will be held at Martin Thomas and Son funeral home on Thursday, April 25, 2024. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Community Ministries Building at Travis Avenue Baptist Church at the corner of W Berry St. and Hemphill St. in Fort Worth.

 

Ron was born on January 31, 1951, to the late Jane and Charles Stuhlman. Ron married Freida Franck on February 14, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa. They moved to Fort Worth Texas in 1995. Ron worked for Tandy Leather for 25 years and continued working in the leather industry until his retirement.

 

Ron was a devoted husband, loving father, and caring grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, from baseball games to dance recitals. Ron was also an avid gardener with a green thumb that could make anything grow. His favorite place to be was in his greenhouse tending to his plants and listening to classic rock.

 

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one daughter.

 

Ron is survived by his wife, Freida Stuhlman of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Samantha and Michael Stuhlman and Casey and Tiffany Stuhlman, all of Fort Worth, Texas; one granddaughter, Skyla Stuhman, of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandsons, Landry, Crosby, and Jett Stuhlman of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Vincent Glorioso, of Fairfax, Virginia; two brothers, Charles Stuhlman and Donald Stuhlman, of Clinton, Iowa, and Foley, Alabama, respectively; as well as 7 nieces and nephews.
