Obituary of Hue Quoc La
Hue Quoc La, 77, passed away on April 22, 2026.
Hue was born on December 31, 1948, in Vietnam to Ngoc Van La and Buong Thi Pham. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam veteran and military police officer. During the Vietnam War, Hue endured more than ten years as a prisoner of war, demonstrating extraordinary courage, strength, and resilience.
Hue later came to America with very little and, through hard work and determination, achieved the American dream. He built a life centered on family, perseverance, and opportunity.
He was the loving husband of 46 years to Hong Anh Nguyen, whose companionship and devotion were the foundation of his life. Hue was a devoted father and grandfather who treasured his family deeply.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Hong Anh Nguyen; daughter, An La; son, Hung La; and grandchildren, Austin and Isabelle.
Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Martin Thompson & Son Chapel, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133.
Interment: 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Texas.
Hue will be remembered for his bravery, sacrifice, unwavering determination, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
