Obituary of James Kenneth Ladner
James "Jim" Ladner, 64, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on April 8, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1961, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Jack and Norma Ladner.
Jim graduated from W.T. White High School in Dallas, Texas, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Minor in Computer Science from Sam Houston State University. He built a distinguished career in the credit union industry, marked by integrity, vision, and strong leadership. For more than 25 years, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Resource One Credit Union. In 2020, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Irving City Employees Credit Union, where he continued to provide exceptional guidance and helped strengthen the institution’s commitment to its members and the community.
A devoted family man, Jim married the love of his life, Cindy Ladner in 1984. Together, they raised two sons, Kris and Kurt, and took immense pride in their family. Jim cherished every moment spent with his wife, sons, daughter-in-law, and new granddaughter, Journey.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, unwavering integrity, and infectious sense of humor. Jim had a rare ability to make others feel valued, whether in the boardroom or at home. Respected by colleagues and deeply loved by all who knew him, he lived a life defined by purpose, leadership, and quiet strength.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of many years, Cindy Ladner; his brother, Kevin Ladner; his sons, Kris Ladner and Kurt Ladner; and his granddaughter, Journey Ladner.
Services: A visitation begin at 10:00 a.m. with a service starting at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2026 at Life Connection Church, 208 Nutmeg Ln, Euless, TX 76039.
Interment: The family will have a private internment at Grapevine Cemetery immediately following the service.
