Obituary of William Gregory “Greg” Wilson
William Gregory “Greg” Wilson passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 75 years old.
Greg was born on April 30, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, to George and Dianne Wilson. After graduating from high school, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Greg proudly served three years as a paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade during the Vietnam War. His bravery and dedication were recognized with several honors, including the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Medal, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States of America.
Following his military service, Greg built a strong and honorable working life as a cement mason, a career he dedicated himself to for over twenty years. Known for his work ethic and reliability, he took great pride in his craft until his well-earned retirement.
Greg later settled in Fort Worth, Texas, where he found his greatest joy in being close to his family—especially his grandchildren. Time spent with loved ones, sharing laughter, stories, and the outdoors he so deeply enjoyed, meant everything to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dianne Wilson, and his sister, Erin Sneeringer. Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Wilson; his daughter, Stacy Pedersen, and her husband, Jim Pedersen; and his treasured grandchildren, Andrew Pedersen and Kiersten Pedersen, who were the light of his life.
Greg will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his gentle and steady spirit, and the deep love he held for his family and nature. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever.
