Obituary of Raul Rodriguez, Sr.

Raul Rodriguez Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 79.

Born on August 8, 1946, in Laredo, Texas, to Rafael and Amelia Rodriguez, Raul lived a life rooted in love, strength, and dedication to his family. He spent the majority of his career with Texas Steel Company, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

Raul was married for over 50 years to his beloved wife, Maria Trinidad Rodriguez, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a life centered on faith, love, and family.

He is survived by his children: Raul Jr., Juan, Rene, Rafael (Lorena), and Mary (Ramiro); his grandchildren: Crystal, Robert, Carolina, David, Monica, Clarissa, Isabella, and Andrew; and his great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Madilyn, and Luke. He also leaves behind extended family and dear friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church.

Raul will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
