Krystal Starr Del Rio, age 36, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on September 21, 1989, in Fort Worth to Dean Anthony Del Rio, Sr. and Marisel Alvarado Del Rio.
Krystal was creative, imaginative, and deeply expressive. She had a strong love for anime, gaming, drawing, and writing stories, often immersing herself in worlds shaped by her creativity and passion. She was a graduate of Paschal High School and worked for a trading card company, where she served as an LGS (Local Game Store) Representative, blending her professionalism with her enthusiasm for gaming and community connection.
Krystal was also a devoted animal lover and leaves behind her six beloved cats and her dog, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship in her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dean Anthony Del Rio, Sr., and her brother, Kevin Del Rio.
She is survived by her mother, Marisel Del Rio; her longtime partner, Cody Guthrie, and his daughter, Savannah Guthrie; her brothers, Josue Alvarado and wife Monet Alvarado, Dean Del Rio, Jr., and Damien Del Rio; her grandfathers, Eduardo Alvarado and Cesar Del Rio; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.
