Obituary of Barbara Fay Jones

Barbara Fay Jones was born on March 16, 1940, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the late Willie A. Wilson and Willie M. Wilson.

Barbara was a loving and caring woman who devoted her life to helping others. She had a heart for those in need and never hesitated to lend a hand. A devoted woman of faith, she loved the Lord and was an active member of her church. Known as the life of the party, Barbara loved to dance, spoke her mind, and brought joy wherever she went. She was a proud and loving grandmother who cherished her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Brisco and Willie Wilson Jr.; her sister, Helen Briscoe; and Dorothy Morgan.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Virginia C. Helton and Elzer Eugene Wilson; her children, Adriana Carrie and Frederick Wilson; along with other loving family members, grandchildren, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, at Martin Thompson & Son Chapel, located at 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76133.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, at Missionary Baptist Thyword Church, 2615 Lena Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76105.

Interment: Crowley Cemetery, 300 N Hampton Rd, Crowley, TX 76036.
