Obituary of Jody Humphrey

Jody Humphrey, 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Celebration of Life: 11 am Wednesday, September 4, 2013, Cross Timbers Winery, 805 N Main St, Grapevine. Jody was born on May 18, 1931 in Wichita Falls, TX to Joe and Grace Mooring. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Jody was quite the outdoors woman, in College she was on the Water Ballet Team, Sailing Team, and the Riflery Team as a Marksman, but Jody didn't let those sports keep her from being the top of her Charm School. The most important things in her life where her family and friends. She was the classic Southern Lady who always showed her Southern Hospitality. Jody was preceded in death by her husband Ben Humphrey and her daughter, Lou Humphrey. Survivors: Daughter, Tracy Humphrey, Springtown; grandson, Jon Hurt, Terrel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
