Obituary of Suzette Poulson

Suzette Marie Poulson passed away on July 5, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas surrounded by family and loved ones.

Suzette was born on August 23, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas to O.F. Umphrey Jr. and Martha Supak Umphrey.

Suzette graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1976 and The University of Texas of Arlington in 1980. She worked for many years as a Procurement and Purchasing Professional in the Oil and Gas Industry.

A funeral in her honor was held on July 14, 2025, at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Suzette was preceded in death by her parents, her life partner Joseph “Mike” Bright, and her brother, John Ted Umphrey.

She is survived by her brother, Max Umphrey and sister-in-law, Glenda. Sister, Pat Rosenzweig and brother-in- law, Neil. Nieces; Brandy Eubanks, Ashley Farmer, and Katherine Umphrey. Nephews; Benjamin Rosenzweig and Joseph Rosenzweig as well as great nieces and nephews. Step-grandchildren: Laiken Holliday, Lauren Holliday, Lucy Hodge, Mandy Holliday, Avery Bright, and Vivian Bright.

Suzette is also survived by her “Fur Babies” Chiquita, Ollie, and Felicia.
