Obituary of Edina Kay Molina
Edina Kay Molina passed away on June 10, 2025.
Edina was born in Chicago, IL, on January 12, 1942, to James and Helene Workman. They relocated to California where she grew up and attended Mt. Diablo High School in Concord. After graduating, she married Donald Ostlund and had three children. They relocated to Texas in 1968. She was employed by Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas where she worked for many years as a respiratory therapist and EKG technician. She divorced in 1974 and later was married to then divorced from Armando Molina. She remained single since 1995.
Edina returned to California to care for her ailing mother then moved back to Texas in 2006. She continued to work as a home health aide until she retired.
Edina enjoyed taking care of dogs and cats over the years. She was socially active at senior independent living apartments until her health started declining then moved to Caraday of Fort Worth Memory Care in September 2024.
Edina is survived by two sons, Steven and David Ostlund, and daughter Allison Clarke. She is also survived by her brother, Brian Workman, of Manteca, CA.
