Obituary of Jeffrey Allen Harrell
Jeff Harrell passed away peacefully after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer he challenged for over a year. He left behind a legacy of love, service, and selflessness. He was always willing to offer a helping hand and a kind word.
Jeff grew up in Arlington, Texas, enjoying the freedom and joy of being a “country kid” alongside his two younger brothers. He thrived being outdoors enjoying camping, scouting, fishing, softball, soccer, and golf. Jeff’s core belief that there is never a problem too big to solve was displayed at a young age. He started his journey as a “Jeff-of-all-trades” by working on cars and learning to fix things as he grew up.
Jeff was a devoted husband and father. He married Dañyl on December 29, 1990, and together they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family. His two children, Logan and Chandler, were his pride and joy. He was deeply proud of them and was always supportive and ready to guide them.
Professionally, Jeff dedicated 34 years of service to the aerospace industry. He began as a mechanic in 1985 and later rose to the role of Front-Line Supervisor, managing several aircraft product lines until his retirement in December 2019. After retirement, he started his second career by establishing his own company, Handyman Solutions, to continue his life of service with a focus on assisting members of the elderly community.
Jeff’s positive outlook, giving spirit, and ability to see the best in any situation extended well beyond his local community. He participated in mission work for over 15 years where he brought his talents to places in Texas, Kentucky, Arizona, Missouri, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Belize. On these mission trips, he shared his expertise and resourcefulness to ensure projects were completed, even when supplies were limited and creativity was needed. As a mission trip leader, he enjoyed serving as a mentor and encouraging many young people.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Dañyl; their son, Logan, and daughter-in-law Kelly; their daughter Chandler, and son-in-law Thomas; his parents, Barbara and Richard; his brother, Rodney, and sister-in-law Tammy; and his brother Ed, and sister-in-law Tina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
