Obituary of Edwon Jamon Tubbs

Edwon Jamon Tubbs, 48, passed away on April 28, 2025. Born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 11, 1976, Edwon was a joyful, outgoing, and deeply social person who loved his friends and family with all his heart.

He was living in Austin, Texas, where he worked as a forklift drive, a role he took great pride in, constantly striving to perfect his craft. From an early age, Edwon enjoyed spending time with his uncles, often saying they were grooming him into the man he became. He also had a lifelong love of Hot Wheels and had begun building his own car collection.

Edwon is survived by his beloved nephews, Zion Williams and Amari Reid; his sister, Sarda Tubbs; his mother, Janet Hobson; and his grandmother, Christine Tubbs. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Edwon's big heart and vibrant spirit will be remembered always.
