
Obituary of Ella Marie Wiley
It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Ella Marie Wiley, who died peacefully on April 4th, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Waxahachie, Texas, to Carl Wiley Sr. and Ella Mae Wiley, she was the third of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Carl Wiley Jr., and her sister, Mary Small, Grandson Antowine White.
Ella is survived by her siblings Willie Wiley, David Wiley, Sadie Mae Lewis, and Hattie Mae Darty; her children, Shelia Marie Harper, Leon Birdwell, Linda Hubbard, and Anthony Birdwell Jr. and a large and loving extended family. This includes ten grandchildren – Shaunta Birdwell, Rachel Bryant, Jennifer Denise Hubbard, Jennifer Marie Brooks, Charles Hubbard, Daryl Hubbard, Paula Centeno, Keymoya Griffin, Keymo Griffin Jr, Antwonette White, as well as twenty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces & nephews.
Ella's life in Fort Worth, Texas, was a beautiful example of selfless devotion to family. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the profound impact she had on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by all who cherished and loved her dearly.
Services: Wake/Balloon release will be April 17, 2025 Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Martin Thompson & Son Chapel, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76133.
Funeral services: Friday, April 18, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at The Tabernacle of Praise Family church, 3601 Martin St., Fort Worth, TX 76119.
