Obituary of Shannon Diane Kraus

Shannon Diane Kraus was born on November 7, 1955, in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she spent the majority of her life. She was a loving and devoted wife to Vernon Kraus, whom she married in September 1994. Together, they shared nearly 25 years of love and memories before Vernon passed away in May 2019.

 

Shannon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernon Kraus; her father, William Givens; her mother, Paula Holloway Givens; and her brother, Scott Givens.

 

A lifelong animal lover, Shannon found joy in the companionship of pets, and when she was unable to have her own, she would often care for and look after the pets of her friends. Known for her gentle soul and compassionate heart, she was always a kind and caring presence to those around her.

 

Shannon's passing on February 28, 2025, has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by her friends, family, and all who had the privilege of her kindness.

 

A memorial service to honor Shannon’s life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Martin Thompson and Son Funeral Home, located at 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Ft. Worth, Texas.
