
Obituary of Gloria Jean Campbell
Gloria Jean Campbell, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born on February 4, 1945, in Clayton, Missouri, to Robert and Dorothy Boden, Gloria dedicated her early life to serving her country in the United States Navy, from which she received an honorable discharge. While serving her country, she met Richard Allen Campbell, whom she eventually married. Following their military service, Gloria and Richard resided in several locations, but eventually moved to Frederick, Oklahoma, where Gloria enjoyed a fulfilling career as a library assistant until her retirement.
After retiring, Gloria moved to Jefferson City, Missouri, to be closer to her beloved sisters. In the winter of 2017, she relocated to Fort Worth, Texas, near her youngest son, Eric, and his family.
Gloria cherished her free time, joyfully cross-stitching, collecting bear figurines, and spending treasured moments with her grandchildren and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Boden, and former spouse, Richard Allen Campbell.
Survived by sons Robert Allen Campbell and Eric Lee Campbell; daughters-in-law Dee Campbell and Ninet Campbell; and grandchildren Eric Nathaniel Campbell and Kayla Campbell. Sisters: Roberta, Sharon, and Debbie Boden.
Gloria will be remembered for her loving spirit, dedication to family, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She will be greatly missed.
