THE LIFE JOURNEY OF PERRY JAMES BARKER
Celebrating and honoring the Life Journey of Mr. Perry James Barker.
Perry Barker was born on March 2, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He graduated from Dunbar High School, class of 1979. Perry was described as a cool and handsome young man. Early into Adulthood he experienced medical events that redirected his life journey.
He was not married. He has no children. Over multiple generations, he gained many friends and supporting families on his daily walks.
Carol Ave. neighbors and city business owners were fond of his daily presence, and they certainly noticed when he no longer walked his routine daily path through the city and back to his home on Carol Ave.
May 26, 2024, Perry faced adversity that required him to put up a strong fight for his life. Although he was resilient in his fight, God granted him peace and rest, by calling him home on February 8, 2025.
May He be pleased with Perry's work here on this earth.
Preceding him in death are his parents; Late George L. Anderson Jr. and Betty Ann Anderson, and nephew Bryan Keith Anderson (Rodney).
Those left to recount the remarkable moments of Perry's life are; His Caregiver and DEVOTED Brother Rodney A. Anderson (Wendi), 2 Brothers George Barker and Kevin Anderson (Lynette), Sister; Cinidi Barker, Uncles; Van Anderson and Larry Anderson. Cherished Aunts; Rubneil Cole, Ruby Anderson, Lora Dean Harmon "Aunt Sista" and Linda Williams and Special Cousins, Hurtis Cole and James Anderson
