Barbara Janis Riess (Gaston), a loving mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on 30 January 2025, at the age of 76, in Burleson, TX.  

Born in Philadelphia, she was a beacon of strength, energy, and kindness to all who knew her.  

She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love to her daughter, family, and all of the students she taught and touched the lives of over the years.
