Phillip was my "little brother" that I "adopted" when he first came to Laurelbrook from the Caymans. Mischevious, funny & sincere. When he & Andy (Miller?) got together they were hysterical. He was a very special & precious person, always. He is greatly missed!

I will love you Phillip forever! In my heart I will cherish so many wonderful memories ! Thanks for being a true gentleman, Godly loving husband, great provider, an incredible father, grandfather and dependable friend to thousands! You almost always put others 1st and had a difficult time saying no especially if it involved helping the elderly and even more for youth & children! Your love of nature and travels was evident in taking us on so many great family vacations that covered most of the USA (including Alaska & Hawaii) as well as Canada & the Caribbean. It helped that you & the girls were born in the Caymans & had a myriad of friends & family where we could stay on many trips. I was spoiled & all blessed by your planning, organization (detailed lists) and hours of work put into home building, campouts, reunions, school & church functions that included the pathfinders & various alumni events. In you my early teen dream checklist was fulfilled in the gift God gave me in you as my husband. I plan to see you when Jesus returns very soon. Then we can again hold hands like on that magical night of 1982!

In the silence of my heart, I hold tight to the vivid reminiscences of Phillip. His selfless nature was a beacon in my life as constant as the friendship born from countless childhood escapades. A loving cousin and friend whose brotherly bond remained unaltered through passing years; surely these memories will twinkle brightly in my heart, steady as lighthouses amidst grief's foggy straits. May he find tranquil slumber enveloped by eternal peace.

Phillip was very kind. He was always smiling & laughing. He always had some kind of joke or story to tell. He knew that I was from Michigan so he always had something to say about "my Spartans" or "my Lions" lol. He'll be missed, but never forgotten.
My condolences to his loved ones.
God bless you.

Phillip was always kind and soft spoken. I will always remember him as treating my son, who had special needs, kindly and respectfully. As pathfinder leader one year he was instrumental in my son receiving the honor of Pathfinder of the Year.
You knew he was a man of God. He reflected God’ character. Until that soon return of Jesus my friend we await that wonderful day. Rest in God’s watchful eye.

Thank God for the good times together in Keene, Tx at SAC between 1978 and 1982, my more recent, visits in Tx and his visits in Cayman with Donna or the entire family.
Condolences from my family and I and the Pathfinders in Cayman who Phillip would have assisted when they traveled camporees in the USA.
I pray that while he rests, God will bring comfort to his family, church family, extended relatives and friends.
Love to Donna, Patricia, Donita and your families.

I don’t really remember the first time I met Mr. Walton—I suppose he knew me most of my life.
I appreciated his friendly and fun personality—how much people meant to him—and his love for God. Some of my most vivid memories of Mr. Walton was while he was president of the Laurelbrook Alumni Association. I remember when I was working in the Laurelbrook school office as a student—Mr. Walton had come all the way from Texas probably a month or two before alumni weekend— to do some preparations for alumni weekend.
I appreciated his dedication & leading in the Laurelbrook alumni—& how interesting he made it. I will treasure the memories of him & his dear precious wife.
My prayers are with the family during this difficult time!

I'm truly sorry to hear about the passing of Philip Walton. He was a man I greatly admired, and our discussions were always cherished moments. His profound love for family was truly remarkable and set a beautiful example for us all. Philip was a man after G-d's own heart, and his memory will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
May Hashem bless his family with strength and comfort during this difficult time, and may Philip's legacy continue to shine until that great day when we are all reunited.
With heartfelt condolences,

We have so many memories of our cousin Philip but one that I fondly remember is when Philip would come on one of his visits to Cayman Brac and my grandmother, Avenell Tatum, his father's oldest sister would be so excited about Philip coming, she would always cook Caymanian food so that he would enjoy. She loved Philip and I believed he loved her too. Even until her passing in 2016 she never forgot Philip as I would mention him to her often.
Philip was always so cheerful when he came to visit. We loved and cherished each time Philip, Donna and his daughters would visit. Philip loved family and family reunions was the very best as we would be so excited to spend time with family and eating good Caymanian food. We were so excited that a reunion was planned for July this year, and so thrilled that Philip and his family was coming, however God had other plans. We never thought the imaginable thing would happen but Philip is no longer here with us. Unable to control the tears as we know we cannot see Philip again. We are finding it hard for us to accept that God has bigger plans for Philip. Philip will be dearly missed by us all. We will think of Philip often and remember the good times we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Mrs Donna, his two daughters and their families, his brother and two sisters.
With love Darcia Tatum, my daughter, Allison Tatum and David Ebanks.

Phillip was an inspiration to all of us at the Crowley Seventh-Day Adventist Church. His children stories were always amazing. He presented the Bible characters with such enthusiasm. I was especially thankful for his encouraging words spoken at exactly the right time. He will be terribly missed. We can look forward to our reunion with Phillip in God’s kingdom! May God bless and comfort all the family.

We first met Phillip when he was 14 and we lived on Cayman Brac for a year. Later he made a trip from Tennessee to Arizona with us in our 5th wheel during a Christmas vacation. After that we saw Phillip on many occasions through the years. He came to many of our family funeral and wedding events. Phillip was family and we will miss him so MUCH. I believe the last time we saw him was in San Antonio, Texas at General Conference Session (2017?). I spent about an hour talking to him. We look forward to the Resurrection Day when we can see Phillip again.

Phillip was a great addition to our side of the family. Loved him like our own cousin, & he loved us! He has so many family & friends thinking of y'all & praying for you now! I regret that I never got to see the Caymans with him. A life well lived. We will see you in the morning.
