In lieu of flowers contact Abby Arguijo at vmascout@sbcglobal.net Eloise was known to her friends and family for many years as Locha, and then as "LaLa" to her grandson. She was born to Luis and Josefa Garza on November 17, 1935 in Rio Hondo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sisters Tillie Kohlenberg and Isabel Martinez, brothers Elieser, Absolom, Solomon, Luis, Jr. Garza, and is survived by her son David Perkins of Toledo, Ohio, daughter Angela Perkins and grandson Kynan Perkins of Fort Worth, Texas, sisters Lenore Oliver, Abigail (Victor) Arguijo, and Ana (Jeru) Goldstar of Fort Worth, Texas, Febe Schoch of Fremont, Ohio and brothers Fred (Ruth) Garza of Rossford, Ohio and Abraham Garza of Harlingen, Texas, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many friends, including Alan Belscher and Linda Anderson of Grapevine, Texas, and William Kendrick of Fort Worth, Texas. She was an office aide in high school and upon graduation was hired by the principal as his secretary. She was also a church secretary for various churches and she was employed by various hospitals who benefited from her advanced skills. Eloise was a skilled farm equipment operator having to replace her brothers who went off to war in the 50s. Known as an excellent driver, many of her friends and family requested her assistance for the longer trips. She loved the Lord, and was an unwavering witness as to the Lord’s love and divine works. Being a prayer warrior at all times and in all settings, allowed her to help establish church missions in Arkansas. Having never taken lessons, she played the piano as if God’s fingers were leading her. She was a fantastic benefit to the church, it’s people and to the message of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Always willing to share the gospel she gave comfort to those around her. The recent hospital staff mentioned how she made them better people, by sharing the love of Christ. Eloise felt blessed by the Lord, tenfold. She was proud of her children and her grandson. She will be missed by many loving friends and family. Pallbearers will be Victor and Vincent Arguijo, Dan Kohlenberg, William Kendrick, and Roy Oliver.
