Obituary of Marjorie Louise Shemwell

Marjorie “Louise” Shemwell, 87, passed away peacefully, September 8, 2017 in Keller, TX.

Memorial Service: 11 am Saturday, September 16, Bowden Chapel, 1775 Keller Pkwy, Keller, TX.

Louise was born on September 2, 1930 in Chattanooga, Oklahoma. She and Don were Sonic Franchisees for 44 years. Louise loved traveling.  Arizona and Branson, Missouri where her favorite places. She loved cooking and baking cakes, playing Skip Bo and giving advice to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great storyteller and a faithful servant for the Lord.

Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Anna Sebree; her late husband, Donald Shemwell; her son, Phillip Barrett; and her daughter Susan Crane.

Survivors: Include her three sons, Aaron Barrett and wife Sandy, Tony Barrett and wife Beth, and Shannon Shemwell and wife Maria; one daughter, Sandra Carter and her husband David; 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and her beautiful cat, Su Pow.
