James Kent “Jim” Higginbotham, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

Graveside: 11 am Thursday, Valley Mills Cemetery, Valley Mills, Texas.

Jim was born on September 27, 1948 in Valley Mills to John and Lil Higginbotham. He owned EZ Money Pawn Shop in Fort Worth, for many years. Jim enjoyed hunting, car shows, gun shows, watching football and especially the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed barbequing and decorating for the holidays. Jim had a big heart and a great sense of humor. All of his friends called him a “Wheeler Dealer” because he was great at buying and reselling merchandise.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lil Higginbotham; and his sister, Sheila Heath.

Survivors: Daughters, Shelley Couch and husband Carter, Sherry Higginbotham, and their mother Patti Sigman; grandchildren, Carley and Carson Couch; sister, Sayre Burson; and extended family.
