Virgie Morehart Sanders, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

Memorial Service: 4 p.m. Saturday, Center of Unity Church, 1650 Hughes Rd., Grapevine, TX 76051. Visitation: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday at the Church.

Memorials: In lieu flowers, memorials may be given to Universal Hospice, 1208 Country Club Dr., Ft Worth, TX 76112.

Virgie was born on October 7, 1935 in Mabelvale, Arkansas to Edward and Arthie Morehart. She was one of 12 children. Virgie loved to play Bingo, watch Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was retired from the U S Army Corp of Engineers.
Virgie was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Drinkard.

Survivors: Children, Nick Whitehead and wife Sandra, Russell Sanders and wife Kristin, and Karen Sanders; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Marsh and Benda Shere; brothers, Clifton Morehart, Eugene Morehart, and Edwin Morehart; and extended family.
