Obituary of Thomas Alan Brown

Thomas Alan (Tom) Brown, 57 of Fort Worth, Tx. passed away on August 7, 2017 in Fort Worth.

Tom was born in Gary, Indiana on February 8, 1960 to Loyal and Martha Brown. In 1976 he married Cheryl Turpin in Gainesville, Tx. The couple had 2 children. 

At the age of 17 he went to work at Texoma Electric as a electricians helper. He moved to Fort Worth in 1980 and went to work for Witty Electric and later S & J Electric where he became a Master Electrician.

Tom loved to write poetry and short stories and had a talent for drawing. He loved camping and going to the lake with his family. He had a sense of humor and like to joke around. 

Tom loved and adored his grandchildren and would spend time with them every chance he could. 

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors: Tom leaves behind his Mother Martha Brown, his daughter Kimberlyn Stone and husband Clay, his son Jeffery Brown and wife April, Ex wife Cheryl Brown, Sister Susan Brown all of Fort Worth, Tx., his brothers William Brown and wife Debbie, of Thackerville, Ok, Michael Brown and wife Jennifer of Houston, Tx , and Robert Spoor and wife Amy of Harrietta, Michagan. 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, August 10th at Redeemer Bible Church, 100 Verna Trail N. Fort Worth, Tx 76108.
